Liberty Hills:  A 55+ Active Adult Community

What is an “active adult community”?
It is a community that focuses on activities for older adults with similar interests. Active lifestyle denotes independence.

What Liberty Hills is not?

It is not an entry point for assisted living or transitional care. Except for temporary needs among friends, the Association, its subcommittees, and individual residents are unable to assume responsibilities best handled by professional caregivers. Neighbors assuming care may incur legal liability. Those with a healthcare background may be held at a higher standard.

What are some resources for residents needing assistance with activities of daily living?

Residents needing assistance with activities of daily living should first discuss their situation with their family and health care provider. Individual health care policies may cover specific needs.

Additional external resources include:
Transportation:      Ride-Share Services
Shopping:             On-line ordering with delivery
Meals:                  Meals on Wheels
Personal or Health Care Assistance:     Beaver County Office on Aging

Additional information may be found on the Liberty Hills Website under the “LH Healthcare Resources” tab.
